What makes a submission qualify
Once approved, make sure your final submission meets the requirements for your tier to receive the reward.
Qualifies
- Was submitted by someone approved for Build & Share
- Is public or easy for others to access
- Clearly includes SnapTrade
- Shows or explains a real use case, build, workflow, tutorial, demo, or creator asset
- Gives enough context for people to understand what was made
- Avoids misleading claims
- Includes any required disclosure if required on the platform where you post
- Is something SnapTrade would be comfortable resharing or referencing
Does not qualify
- Submitting without first being approved
- "Check out SnapTrade" with no example
- A live app link with no explanation
- Reposting SnapTrade content without adding your own build, demo, or commentary
- Vague praise
- Private feedback only
- Screenshots with no context
- Videos where SnapTrade is not clearly connected
- GitHub repos with no README or explanation

Use your own voice
We are not looking for something polished that feels like an ad, and we do not want every post to sound the same. This is meant to be a helpful builder story or insight, and SnapTrade happens to be part of it.
Make it feel real
The best submissions explain what you built, why you built it, how it works, and where SnapTrade helped. You can keep it technical, casual, visual, detailed, short, or somewhere in between.
Any public format can work
You can apply with a demo, walkthrough, repo, tutorial, post, video, screenshot, workflow, or write-up. You can also blur personal information or use sample data if you want to keep your financial details private.
Where can you share it?
You can share your approved Build & Share asset anywhere people can actually discover it.
Good options include YouTube, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit if the community rules allow it, GitHub, a personal blog, a newsletter, or a community forum where sharing projects is welcome.
Choose the place that feels most natural for you and your audience. The main thing is that it should be public or easy for others to access, so people can see what you made and learn from it.
You never have to show private data
You do not need to show private financial information. You can blur, crop, redact, or cover personal information in screenshots or videos. You can also use sample or demo information instead of real balances, holdings, names, emails, account numbers, or other personal details. The goal is to show the idea, workflow, or build, not your private data.
